Are you building up your excitement? We hope so because today we build it up even more!
Let us take you through our Showdown Tour, which features over 130 events grouped into three categories that allows non-linear progression.
Here, you enjoy a variety of competitions that will put you to the test by combining speed and skill.
There’s no “right way” to do an event: each one has been designed to welcome different playstyles and exalt each player’s strength.
Every time you achieve victory in one of the three categories, you unlock a new event of the same one: this way, you can always find new challenges akin to your preferences without sacrificing variety, because each game category features several game modes.
Rest assured that you won’t miss anything by playing the same category from start to finish!

The locations of the Showdown Tour are wild and surprising, the perfect place to push Monster Jam™ trucks to the limit and unleash their full power even beyond what is seen at events.
The untamed landscapes of Alaska, Colorado, and California are available from the very first minutes of play by navigating a map where all the events gradually unlock as you progress. For example, if you complete a Freestyle competition in Colorado a new one unlocks in another region; this way, you can visit all three landscapes, without being locked in the same one for too long.

Victories within the same even grant you the tokens to access the Showdown Events, special boss battles that seal career progression. Here, you must prove to be the worthy owners of some of the most iconic Monster Jam Trucks by competing against their previous drivers.
If you win, the truck will be added to your private collection, and higher-difficulty events within the same category will unlock as well.
Importantly, Showdown Events are more than 1v1 races. Being fast won’t be enough, because you also have to gain the crowd’s favor by reaching a certain score: to do so, you must perform crazy jumps, and destroy as many objects as possible to make the most spectacular run.

We designed the Showdown Tour to let you freely decide whether to progress within the same category by completing the most difficult events or to test yourself in something different. You can choose to refine your skills in your preferred game mode and unlock all the related trucks, or play without a specific goal in mind, but remember: mastering all categories is required to fully complete the career and collect all 66 vehicles* and over 140 liveries available in the game.

Monster Jam Showdown™ will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC as of August 29, 2024, with Early Access** available from August 26, 2024.
