RISE TO THE CHALLENGE AND PROVE YOURSELF IN MONSTER JAM™ SHOWDOWN

To all the Drivers out there: the challenge is on! Monster Jam™ Showdown features a variety of game modes that will test your skills and push your trucks to the limit, both in single-player and split-screen.

As you know by now, you can compete in stadiums inspired by real-life venues experiencing challenges like Freestyle, where you have limited time to gain as many points as possible, or Head-to-Head races in small circuits to prove who’s the best. What you don’t know is that these two are but a taste of what Monster Jam™ Showdown really is: the stadiums mentioned above will also host Best Trick, special events in which you can perform specific stunts to gain more points than usual.

But that’s not all.

Shifting to the American wilderness, you can fiercely battle your opponents thanks to Circuit Racing and Figure 8, two no-holds-barred racing game modes: featuring huge jumps, strategic shortcuts, and destructible objects to power up the boost, these races will offer lots of creative opportunities to triumph over a crowded field of rivals. If you need to, don’t hesitate to drift to achieve victory!

Moreover, Extreme Freestyle and Extreme Head-to-Head are offline-only events that take place in the untamed nature of Alaska, Colorado, and Death Valley to pose a true challenge for those who want to prove themselves.

One will allow you to interact with bigger ramps, obstacles, and themed destructible objects to learn the most insane stunts and become true trick masters; the other will grant thrilling 1vs1 races in knock-out tournaments that stand out exactly for being held in the Wild Arenas because they grant you longer and more spectacular matches.

We also have the Horde mode, both online and offline, where the “runners” must escape from the “hunters” within a set time limit.
What’s that? You say you want more?

Then we shall give you more! Be sure to have your truck and resolve ready because more competitions await you right around the corner: Survival and Treasure Hunting will be there to push the online* challenge to its peak.

Survival, as you may guess, is a last-truck-standing mode where the one who has endured till the end and crushed all the opponents wins. Treasure Hunting will instead focus on cooperation through high-octane team matches: as the name suggests, along with your teammates you have to collect more treasures than the rival team.

To streamline the process of joining a match, all online game modes will be organized into playlists, some featuring a single category of events and others mixing various game modes. With these, the package of 10 different game modes is complete.

If you want to keep track of your progress and achievements, Leaderboards and Garage are the perfect means to do it: all online matches will contribute to the overall global ranking, and separate boards for specific offline events will also be available.

The Garage will feature your in-game stats; most importantly though, it’s the best place to rest and admire your ever-growing truck collection. You can even show them in different poses!

Monster Jam™ Showdown will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC as of August 29, 2024, with Early Access available from August 26, 2024.
